Welcome to the PLIMS Home Page |
Plymouth Locality Immediate Medical Support, also known as PLIMS, is a volunteer team of accident doctors in their own vehicles (both GPs and Hospital doctors) who provide around the clock medical back-up to the Westcountry Ambulance Service in and around the city of Plymouth, including South-East Cornwall and The South Hams in Devon. We are on-call from home or work, and respond at the request of Ambulance Control, driving ourselves to the incident using lights and sirens only if appropriate. |
